About the program
The trial Ticket to Wellbeing program aims to increase the number of older Tasmanians active in sport and active recreation and reduce the membership and/or registration cost for these activities for those that are eligible.
If you are living in Tasmania, are 65 years old or over, and are listed on a Services Australia Health Care or Pensioner Concession Card, then you can apply for a $100 voucher to use towards the cost of sport and active recreation membership and/or registration.
Vouchers are limited and the program will close when all available vouchers have been distributed.
Vouchers must be given to an Approved Activity Provider to redeem by 5 June 2026.
Who is eligible for a voucher?
Applicants must be:
- living in Tasmania
- aged 65 years and over at the time of application
- be listed on a valid Services Australia Health Care or Pensioner Concession Card
- Commonwealth Seniors Health Card and DVA card are not included.
How to apply
You can apply online. Please click on Apply for a voucher. You will need an email address and to enter your card number during the application. The card details will be validated.
Alternatively, you can also apply by using an application form (PDF 126.4 KB) and visiting a service centre.
What can a voucher be used for?
A voucher can be used toward the cost of club membership or registration fees at Tasmanian sport or active recreation organisations who are listed as an approved activity provider.
Ticket to Wellbeing vouchers can only be used or redeemed by Approved Activity Providers.
How do I find an activity?
You can search for places to participate by viewing a list of Approved Activity Providers. This list is regularly updated as more organisations register for the program.
